The challenge with this house in the South of Johannesburg was to create a stylish, contemporary space while preserving the original mid-century aesthetic of its 1970s design, merging the two into a single unique expression. The open plan kitchen and living area was the key – it now serves as the beating heart of the home, accentuated by the striking large window. The living room flows naturally to the outside entertainment area and swimming pool, cementing the elegant quality of this full renovation.
